You want to change the same repetitive relationship cycles. You have noticed how early experiences have impacted your emotions and behaviors, and you are contemplating healing and connection.
I provide relationship counseling and LGBTQ+ fam-ily affirming therapy. I have experience working with individuals who are experiencing life transitions, immigration trauma, and complex trauma. I use an intersectional lens and systems approach that values you as a whole and honors your unique story.
I use a variety of modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness. I also incorporate metaprocessing of emotions into my practice to solidify emotional learning, rewire the brain, and promote change. I am trained in Gestalt techniques to address grief and loss.
